Spread The Word Run is Saturday

Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 23, for the  "Spread The Word Run" at Texas A&M University-Texarkana campus.

This inspirational run is being organized by Christian Warriors of Texarkana, a christian-based organization that hopes to spread the word of Christ. Entry fee is a new or used Bible and all Bible's donated at this event will be distributed in the community.

Registration begins at 7AM and the 5K and 10K runs start at 8:30AM.

They're also having a Kid Fun Run beginning at 10AM with an awards and door prize ceremony immediately following the races.

Age divisions for for the 5K and 10K races are as follows.

19 and under

20-29

30-39

40-49

50-59

60- and up
