Study Ranks Top Cities to Start a Business In, How Did Texas and Arkansas Do? [LIST]

If starting a business is in your blood, you've got some great options around you.

Although many of us are born with the desire to create and grow, not all of us set out to carve our own path in the business world. WalletHub states that "15 million out of 53 million Americans are now working for themselves." And if you're looking to start a business, you're not in a bad arad on the map to do it. According to a study by Wallethub.com, Texas placed several cities in the top 25 alone. Heck, you could even head down to Shreveport, Louisiana and fulfill your business-savvy dreams.

I'd like to think the South does much of the heavy lifting when it comes to American Industry.

The study took into account 13 metrics like a business' survival rate after five years, how expensive office space is, and the availability of a local work force. The two big categories were "Access to Resources" and "Business Environment."
