Sulphur River Waterfowl Association Plans Golf Tournament for October 5

The Sulphur River Waterfowl Association's first annual Two Man Golf Scramble is coming up Oct. 5 at New Haven Golf Club in Texarkana.Tee time is set for 8 a.m. and the tournament cost is $150 price, which includes cart, green fees,sandwich and chips. Beer and soft drinks will be available for sale on the course. First through third place prizes will also be awarded.  For registration forms call Warren at 903-271-6691. Forms must be turned in by Oct. 1 in order to enter the tournament.

Also, the Sulphur River Waterfowl Education Preservation Annual Banquet is Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Four States Fairgrounds Fine Arts building. This a fundraiser for youth deer hunts,duck hunts and fishing derby for students of outdoor school at risk program.
