Sometimes summer comes with a high price tag. Here's the top thing you can do for free in our state.

The next three months will arguably be the best of the year. Warm weather means lots of time spent outdoors with loved ones and friends. Many parents get super creative when it comes to entertaining kids on summer break, especially when you're on a budget. That's why free activities are a life-saver.

Country Living recently found the top activity in every single state that is free.

In Arkansas that is Hot Spring National Park. Open since 1832, this is located in the heart of Hot Springs, Arkansas and offers something for everyone. Of course they are most famous for the hot springs (hence the name) with water reaching 143 degrees. Many travel from all over to relax in these waters for their healing and therapeutic properties. Some have even called Hot Springs National Park, "The American Spa."

Aside from the springs, this park offers other activities like hiking, peaceful creeks and camping. Hot Springs National Park is great for short day visits or even a few overnights. What do you think? Will you take a road trip this summer?
