28 Days of Thanks

I am thankful for furry friends, one in particular because I see him everyday at work, my good friend Ranger. We've gotten really tight over the last year.

It is obvious that Pleasant Grove High School's head football coach and athletic director Kevin Davis is grateful for a Friday night touchdown, but there's something even more meaningful in his life than the big game.

I was asked by our digital editor to do a blog about what I am thankful for during this Thanksgiving season. I'ts very easy for me to talk about what I treasure in this life.

In reviewing all the worldwide calamities and negative stories that have been published so far in 2013, I have come to realize that there are really quite a number of things to be thankful for.

Sometimes what we are most grateful for is what others may take for granted! An excellent example of this was shared by one of our advertising executives, Russ Jester. I’m thankful for my vision, but equally as thankful that I couldn't see well at all until the sixth grade...

Since the holiday season kicks off this month, we have all been talking a lot about what we are thankful for. In this installment of '28 Days of Thanks,' one of our account executives, Jack Baill, reflects on the importance of time.

My earliest memory of food is tasting my mother's fresh bread as it came from the oven.

Although we are all born to a family, our friends are the family we choose, the ones who bring out the best in us and who willingly stand by our side when they would really rather be anywhere else. For those friends, I am most grateful.

There are a lot of things to be thankful for during the month of November. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my grandchildren. I have been blessed beyond belief to have three beautiful grandkids and another on the way for 2014.

I am most thankful for my faith in Christ!

Not to get too preachy on you, but we have to start at the beginning right? Thanks to God for making my life possible first and foremost. Without Him nothing else is.
