The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program is pleased to partner with the Arkansas Educational Television Network once again for the Arkansas Historic Places Student Film Prize. This contest is open to all Arkansas students grades 5 to 12 and is conducted in collaboration with the AETN Student Selects: A Young Filmmakers Showcase.

The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, a division of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, has awarded $2,963,781 in grants for projects in 58 Arkansas countiesincluding Miller County through its County Courthouse Restoration Grant, Historic Preservation Restoration Grant and Main Street Downtown Revitalization Grant programs.

Main Street Arkansas has awarded $200,000 for Arkansas projects through its Main Street Arkansas “Slipcover” Removal and Downtown Revitalization Grant programs, Governor Asa Hutchinson announced today. Main Street Arkansas is a program area of the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program. Texarkana is one of several towns that will benefit from these grants.
