Arkansas Razorbacks

Arkansas fans showed up in record numbers Saturday to show their support for the team. Saturdays annual red/white game was the third highest attended spring game in the nation and second only to Alabama in the SEC.

This years Razorback Spring Red/White game will not be available anywhere but online for those of us  in Texarkana.

As Jeff Long continues his search for the next coach of the Razorbacks, new names keep popping up of coaches rumored to either be "in talks" with the UA or having been contacted. Here's the latest.

Coaches give a lot of reasons for losing ball games. Their opponents won the battle at the line of scrimmage. Their team didn't take advantage of opportunities. But, the reason Coach Broyles says the Hogs lost to Texas in 1969 might surprise you.

As Jeff Long continues his coaching search, there's no shortage of names being mentioned as possible replacements for Bobby Petrino. Here's my list of guys who I feel are being considered. Take the poll: Who do you think will be the next Razorbacks head coach?...

Like most Hog fans, I've spent a lot of time since last Thursday "cussing and discussing" the Petrino situation. A lot of my thoughts I've kept to myself due to how sensitive many people are about this, but I'm really not sad at all Petrino is no longer our coach.

Coach Petrino may be gone, but the Razorbacks can (and will) survive!

The "Team Save Bobby Petrino" Face Book group is almost 8,000 members strong and they're taking their message of support to Fayetteville this evening.

During the 2007 season, Razorback fans were divided over whether Houston Nutt should be fired or not. The discussions on message boards and in coffee shops around the state were heated and both camps firmly held their ground. Today, the fan base is divided again as we wait for an announcement on Petrino's future at Arkansas.

It's been a rough week for Razorback fans, but even rougher for Athletic Director Jeff Long. In a late night press conference last night, Mr Long announced that he had put Head Coach Bobby Petrino on paid leave and is conducting a review to determine if he will remain the head coach.

Razorback Head Coach Bobby Petrino is, reportedly, in stable condition at an undisclosed Washington, County Hospital after a motorcycle Sunday evening.

As he prepares to learn where he'll be going in the NFL after the draft, Joe Adams has claimed another award for his college play. The Johnny "The Jet" Rodgers award for the best return specialist in the country.
