This bill wouldn't affect ALL oil companies, just the top 5 revenue earners. Democrats claim these "big oil" companies are stealing money from American tax payers and by golly that's just not right.  (Just a side note: this whole "big oil/Senate" showdown is a repeat of 2003. Same cast of characters, same plot, same claims, etc.. the facts haven't changed.)
