Please join us tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6 at 9 a.m. to kick off the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. The kick-off is at the Oaklawn Post Office located at 2211 N. Robinson Rd. in Texarkana. Everyone is asked to bring a bag of food and help officially kick off the event with Mayors Bob Bruggeman and Wayne Smith as they proclaim May 10 as the official Stamp Out Hunger Day.

Are you a wine connoisseur? Then start making plans now for the 2014 Wine and Jazz Gala this Friday, April 11 at The Silvermoon on Broad Street. The annual fundraiser which benefits Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank begins at 7 p.m.

Last night was the Taste of Texarkana at the 4-States Fair Entertainment Center. What a great night with fantastic food and all benefiting Harvest Texarkana!

Do you know where you will be Oct.8 between 5 - 8 p.m? Grab your fork and come hungry, because the Taste of Texarkana 2013 will be hosted by Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank at the Four States Fairgrounds on that evening.

The Four States area is getting ready for it's annual Taste of Texarkana scheduled for Tuesday, October 8 from 5-8 p.m. at the Four States Entertainment Center to benefit Harvest Texarkana.

The mobile pantry will be in Murfreesboro, Ark. to distribute food boxes to residents who qualify this Thursday, Sept. 26 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Harvest Texarkana Board of Directors has announced the hiring of a new CEO, and she is Camille Coker Parker.

Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank is once again this year promoting a food drive as part of their schedule of events for Hunger Action Month.
