There is so much going on in this international trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight that I can hardly begin to imagine how bananas Michael Bay’s latest sequel will actually be when it hits theaters this month. It may not be over three hours long (as was erroneously reported last week), but given just how much story is happening here, that runtime doesn’t seem all that crazy. This movie just looks real extra.

Seeing an international trailer for a Hollywood-made blockbuster can be an unexpectedly illuminating experience. Taking note of what elements get subtracted or added when appealing to a global audience speaks volumes about what studios and ad executives think will play across the Atlantic and Pacific. For instance, when advertising a mega-budgeted action assault, it’s best to frontload the universal: and in the instance of Transformers: The Last Knight, the cultural-divide spanning material happens to be the “comedy” of an alien robot dinosaur spitting out a chewed-up car covered in viscous green slime.

Hasbro executives threatened announced today that new entries in the Transformers franchise would be coming in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Part of a planned twelve-film franchise, these three films will expand the pre-existing cinematic universe of the shape-shifting robot toys while simultaneously redefining how big of a number twelve feels like...

Ready or not, the Entourage movie is coming. The latest trailer has arrived, boasting parties, booze, yachts and lots of famous faces. It’s like a Where’s Waldo? of cameos in there, from Bob Saget to George Takei to Liam Neeson to…Bob Saget. But enough name-dropping, already. This movie also has a story to tell, and that story is about Vinnie Chase, director.

‘Ted 2’ may have the most relevant Super Bowl trailer there is, mostly because it features a cameo from one of the players actually playing in the Super Bowl. The movie features a cameo from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and he makes an appearance in this new ad.

'Transformers: Age of Extinction' has just debuted a new trailer, and it's been released just in time to play before this weekend's 'Godzilla.' It's as if Michael Bay and company are saying "yeah, you've may have a fire breathing gigantic lizard, but we've got fire breathing gigantic dinobots. Check. Mate."

The 'Transformers' films have operated under director Michael Bay with one basic credo: "Giant F---ing Robots." (It's true! We actually have a cast and crew t-shirt with that printed on the back.) This new 'Transformers 4' poster certainly lives up to that motto as stars Mark Wahlberg and Nicola Peltz beat foot to avoid - what else? - a giant f---ing robot.

How exactly do you bounce back from a critical and financial bomb as big as 'Battleship'? If you're director Peter Berg, you go make 'Lone Survivor,' a war film based on true events that's already started generating extremely positive pre-release buzz. The newest trailer for the film has arrived and we certainly hope the finished film is as intense as it looks here.

When Seth MacFarlane was announced as the host of the 2013 Oscars we wondered whether MacFarlane would bring some of his more famous characters to the big show.
