Work to resurface State Highway 93, better known as Summerhill Road, in Bowie County is scheduled to begin this Sunday night, May 15, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reports a total of 112 positive COVID-19 cases, with 73 recoveries and 11 related deaths. Cass County has a total of 21 with 18 recovered. Miller County has 42 total cases, 468 negative results, 36 recovered, 1 death. Updated Monday morning, May 18.
