It takes a special talent, combined with a level of popularity most of us will never come close to, to become a divisive force in a scene that you catapulted to relevance. And while the Pat Green haters have calmed down the last few years it's safe to assume, just about everyone who hates, or hated him, at one point loved him. A lot.

This is one of those lists that I love to read, but am way too scared to ever write. It's so objective. What you like I might hate, and vice versa.

Throughout the history of "Texas Music" there have been certain artists that stepped forward as... "leaders" per-say. These leaders made headway for the rest of our favorite artists. In the beginning, we had Pat Green, Cory Morrow and Roger Creager step up, followed by Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen etc etc etc.

This week, after three weeks on top, Wade Bowen drops down to the third spot; opening the door to a brand new No. 1 song. So he lands it? Josh Abbott Band, Pat Green or Stoney LaRue? Let’s find out.

Country star Pat Green is coming to Texarkana this Thursday, January 26th to perform live at SHOOTERS.

There will always be an abundance of stories about an artist, or artists going to battle with their record company (Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Tracy Lawrence, etc...)  Then there's Pat Green, who broke it all down in a recent interview, and Pat actually understands that it's all business... and the suits are simply trying to protect their investment.

Even with "snowmageddon" on the ground outside, the party will be HOT at the Grand Opening party of THE COLISEUM, with PAT GREEN! We were there a little earlier for the set-up, and it is going to be one of the best shows in Texarkana this year!
