September 11th, 2001 began like any other day as I hurried about the bank tending to customers' needs. “May I help you,” I asked each new customer who came in, forgetting that there was a world outside the branch. Then the doors swung open and a somber-faced policeman entered to tell us that the world had changed forever.

They say the morning of September 11, 2001 was gorgeous, before all hell broke loose in NYC. I was asleep when the phone rang, it was Benson “Fish” Anable. He and I worked on the Eagle together. He used to be on-air from 10am to 3pm weekdays. He said “Wake your ass up and turn on the TV, a plane just crashed into the World Trade Center!”. I fumbled for the remote and turned on NBC just in time to see the second plane hit the South Tower.

As we head into this weekend let us not forget about those Americans who lost their lives September,11th 2001 a day in America we will never forget. I remember coming to work that morning and seeing all my co-workers standing in front of the television and wondered what was happening. As I continued to watch I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
