Have I got the place for you if you enjoy eating great food. Taste of Dallas at Fair Park is happening on June 12-14. Taste of Dallas features more than 70 restaurants, cooking competitions, Taste the Difference VIP tasting experience, and the ultimate sweet factory for everyone's sweet tooth. In addition, dozens of Dallas' top restaurants and food trucks will be all in one convenient location offering tastings from their menus from $1 to $4 dollars. Stroll through their huge culinary and exhibitor marketplace inside Fair Park's automobile building and much more.

Make sure you check out the BBQ Battle Royale where top competitive professional BBQ teams stampede into Taste of Dallas's Celebration of BBQ to duke it out for cash and bragging rights. And if you're in Texas you have to sample the BBQ! Enjoy a slice of North Texas' best BBQ with a plate of delicious food from brisket to ribs, chicken or pork from more than a dozen BBQ restaurants. Samples will be available from $1-$4, making it easy to find your own personal favorites.

Kids of ages will love The Sweet Factory as you wander through aisles of cookies, cupcakes, chocolate, ice cream and candy and cakes. This Texas-sized wonderland puts all your favorites into one area where you will feel like a kid again in a magical sugarland. It's almost like taking a trip to Willie Wonka's Chocolate Factory!

The Taste Marketplace will be offering handmade spices, unique sauces, dips, olive oils, jams and more. Taste sample from these one-of-a-kind exhibitors and decide which flavors and products to add to your collection. There will also be vendors showcasing their services and educating the public about how to live a healthier lifestyle.

You can also relax with a chair massage, learn about the newest wellness products, and talk to local professionals who specialize in health and wellness. And finally, don't miss the huge fireworks show at Taste of Dallas.

Tickets:

One day admission is $9 or $12 at the gate and advance tickets are available at DFW Walgreen locations only. Children 10 years and younger get in free with accompanying parent or guardian.

 Hours:

Friday: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Taste of Dallas will be worth the short drive (2 hours and 52 minutes) for a fun-filled day of great food and excitement.
