TexarCANa Kick Hunger Bowl

Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank is once again this year promoting a food drive as part of their schedule of events for Hunger Action Month. Harvest Texarkana has partnered with the Texarkana Texas and Texarkana Arkansas school districts to host the TexarCANa Kick Hunger Bowl as part of the legendary cross-town rivalry football game. All campuses in both districts will be hosting a food drive between August 28th through September 6th.

Both school districts have committed to achieving the the collective goal of collecting 50,000 pounds of food for the food bank through both monetary and can donations. For each $1 donated, five pounds will be counted toward their total.

Donations may also be brought to the Harvest Texarkana office at 3120 East 19th Street, and designated for either campus. Donations will also be collected at the gate of the football game September 6th starting at 6 p.m.
