Texarkana Arkansas is offering amnesty to those with warrants for traffic violations or contempt of court charges effective immediately and running until March 31, 2014.

In a video posted on YouTube, Probation Officer Tom West announced the amnesty program effective for those with outstanding warrants for traffic violations or contempt of court charges, allowing people to pay their fines in their entirety and save themselves $350 in court costs and avoid getting locked up. This program is also designed so that offenders can be able to get their drivers license reinstated. Officer West urges those that have warrants to take advantage of the program now, because after March 31, the law is coming to get them.
