The Texarkana USA Chamber of Commerce is hosting a public reception for two area congressmen.

The two are United States Congressman John Ratcliffe of Texas Fourth District and United States Congressman Bruce Westerman of Arkansas Fourth District. The meeting will be Wednesday, April 6, from 11:30AM to 12:30PM in the Great Room at Texarkana College, Texarkana, Texas. The public is invited to meet and welcome the Congressmen to the greater Texarkana area.

“The Chamber is excited about the opportunity of having both Congressmen from our region available for citizens and businesses to meet. Our Congressmen are important to the future of business development in our region and we are proud to have them as our guests” according to Chamber Chairman, Cory Floyd.

James Henry Russell, President of Texarkana College remarked, “The College is proud to be a part of this program and welcome our Congressmen. Education is an integral part of community development and we are happy to demonstrate the skills of many of our students.”

U. S. Congressman Ratcliffe’s Texas offices are in Rockwall, Sherman and Texarkana, with Robbin Bass as the Regional Representative. U. S. Congressman Westerman’s Arkansas offices are in El Dorado, Pine Bluff, Ozark, and Hot Springs, with Cara Cox as Field Representative and Grants Coordinator.
