Texarkana, Texas City Council to Meet Tonight

The Texas Side City Council meets tonight beginning at 7 p.m. at City Hall.The council will consider an ordinance to allow the City Manager to enter into an agreement for removal and installation of fencing of private property facing Cowhorn Creek and Kennedy Lane for Convention Center and Linear Park projects.

The council will also consider an ordinance for approving listing substandard properties as priority demolition structures.

The public is invited to attend the open portions of tonight's meeting.
