Texarkana Texas Police Investigating Aggravated Robbery

Texarkana Texas Police are continuing to investigate an aggravated robbery that occurred at an apartment in the 4600 block of Elizabeth Street.Authorities say two suspects described as black males around 6 feet tall forced their way in to an apartment. One of the suspects had a handgun and both were hollering for money. The suspect then struck the  19 year old female occupant of the apartment on the forehead with the gun when she did not turn over any money.

One of the suspects grabbed the victim's purse and both ran from the apartment with an undetermined amount of money. The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the wound. Her injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
