Texas side authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a business break-in earlier this week.

Police say tips from citizens who recognized the identity of the suspect in surveillance photos taken at the crime scene led them to the arrest. Charles Fennie Jr., 47, of Texarkana, Texas was arrested late last night, June 8. He was identified as the man who allegedly broke into a Texas Boulevard business in the 10PM hour on Monday night.

An arrest warrant was issued for the suspect and police Sgt. Jeremy Courtney noticed Fennie's vehicle being driven on Richmond Road last night and made the traffic stop. Fennie was arrested and transported to the Bi-State Jail, where he is being held for Burglary of a Building.

The Texarkana, Ark., Police Department has also obtained felony arrest warrants on Fennie for Burglary and Breaking and Entering charges that he faces in connection with crimes that occurred on that side of town.

Police had earlier said the suspect in the Texas Boulevard case closely resembled the suspect in a break-in that occurred Sunday at the Miller County Senior Adult Center on Jefferson Avenue.

Authorities say once the charges have been handled in Texas, the suspect will be extradited to Arkansas to face those additional charges.
