Texarkana Warriors Meet and Greet With Fans Feb. 20

On Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, the Texarkana Warriors ,Texarkana's oldest and active semi-pro football team, will introduce its 2016 season roster, schedule, and sponsors.

The team would like to invite the general public to come out to 905 New Boston Road at 5PM for this special event. Meet the players, get your Warriors apparel, and let's get the team all riled up to go out on the war path in preparation for next week, when the #4 ranked team will play its season opener on Saturday, February 27, against the Paris Stars, ranked #7 in the league, at the New Boston Lions Stadium.

Gate admission will be $6 for everyone over age 12. Ages 12 and younger will be admitted free.

The Texarkana Warriors are a non-profit team that works to make improvements in its community. In the past, the Warriors have donated blood at Lifeshare Blood Centers, helped out at Runnin' WJ Ranch, and read to young students at local elementary schools. In 2016, the Warriors will host benefit games during bye-weeks and donate those proceeds along with portions of gate admission from regular season games to local nonprofits including but not limited to Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc., and will make itself present when these same area non-profits need volunteers.
