Texas Country Artist Josh Ward is set to perform this Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 at Shooters. When you hear Josh sing you are automatically drawn back to the days when country music was country.

With seven back to back #1 singles under his belt on the the Texas Music and Regional charts this country boy from Splendora Texas knows how to sing a country song. His current single "Broken Heart" just went #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Report. In 2013 Josh Ward was named the "New Male Vocalist of the Year" at the Texas Regional Music Awards.

A country traditionalist who cut his teeth on artists like Hank and Lefty, Waylon and Willie, truly entertains his fans with his unforgettable voice and style. Ward learn to play guitar when he was on the rodeo circuit at an early age and in 2003 formed his first band playing all the honky-tonks and local dive bars. When Josh is not on stage you'll find him in he woods, an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. As a matter of fact, he won the Oakley Big Bass Championship in March 2011 and continues to be involved in Bass Tournaments on Lake Conroe near Houston.
