If you're a nurse or aspiring to be one, you're in the right place.

Shout out to all of our nurses out there. Nurses are healers. We've all seen the commercials that say that and we know it's true. Most of the time when we go to the doctor's office, we never actually see the doctor. However, the warmth and knowledge of the nurse always makes us feel confident that we have been taken care of.

So are they taken care of in return?

According to a study from WalletHub.com, some states are better than others when it comes to working as a nurse. The results are based on looking at day-to-day demands, overtime hours, the number of staff members and more, in addition to workplace environment and available opportunities.

Texas came in at number three on the list of best states for nurses.

Arkansas came in at number 32. Despite being in the bottom half of the states, this isn't a bad number. The study also shows that the nursing industry is expected to grow and even double in number by 2024. Nursing certainly is one of the more sought-after careers in the US.
