Texas Side City Council Confirms Support to Hire New City Manager

The Texarkana Texas City Council voted to confirm their decision to hire  John Whitson from North Carolina as the city's new manager.Contract negotiations will now begin between the city and Whitson. Texarkana has had an acting city manager since Larry Sullivan retired back in August.
