Since the holiday season kicks off this month, we have all been talking a lot about what we are thankful for. In this installment of '28 Days of Thanks,' one of our account executives, Jack Baill, reflects on the importance of time.

After 2010 when my wife passed away, I didn't think I was thankful for anything. But this year on the anniversary of her death Sept. 22, I was thinking that I was thankful for the fun 18 years we had together. (I remember them all as fun.) We had great vacations,we did everything together, but the best was just hanging out with our dog Cleo and our great neighbors. Great summer nights playing "Chicken Foot" or just talking and solving the world's problems.

I'm also thankful that I have a great relationship with my step-son and step-daughter, although I refer to them as my son and daughter.

And I'm very thankful for sweet pooch Cleo , who has taught me patience."

Now it is your turn. Share with us what you appreciate and why!
