The 18th Annual Whistlestop Festival is May-9-10

The 18th Annual Whistlestop Festival is May-9-10 in Ashdown, Arkansas Sponsored by the Ashdown Antique and Merchants Association. Friday night kicks off with LIVE music and a Frog Giggin' Tournament Series. Then on Saturday a Pancake Breakfast at First United Methodist Church 7 a.m. followed by a 10K Run, Half Marathon. There will be plenty of arts & crafts, lots of children's activities and LIVE entertainment throughout the entire day. Come check out the antique car show, antique tractors, and the Hook N' Kookem Catfish Cook-Off with lunch being served at noon.

In addition, there will be exciting displays at Two Rivers Museum, a Horseshoe Tournament and Train memorabilia.

Don't miss the 7th Annual Miss Whistlestop Pageant at Ashdown High School Auditorium Saturday at 6 p.m.
