The 2nd Annual Six Leg Fun Run And 5K This Sunday

Coming up this Sunday January, 29 in downtown Texarkana at the Front Street stage it's the 2nd Annual Six Leg Fun Run and 5K. The event is the creation of Shelby Dunphy-Day. Shelby joined us in the studio to talk about the event and how she came up with the idea.

Hard to believe she is only 13 years old! The event starts at 12:30PM with registration and race packet pickup. The 5K starts at 2PM followed by the Fun run/walk at 2:30PM.

Pet Contest is held at 3PM followed by raffle drawing, awards and medals.

The money raised will benefit the Animal Care and Adoption Center of Texarkana with their goal of purchasing an adoption trailer for the center.

All dogs must be up to date on shots and leashed.
