The Chick-fil-A Controversy [OPINION]

I unplug from the world for a week, and then when I get back online I have to hear about this stupidity.  It seems that lots of gay folks are pissed-off at Chick-fil-A.

All because somebody asked company president Dan Cathy if he supports gay marriage, and he said he takes the “biblical definition of marriage” stance.  Good for him. If he were running for political office, he may have lied about it.

Ever since they went into the chicken business, Chick-fil-A restaurants have been closed on the sabbath. (If you are a heathen, that is Sunday.)  They have always been a company that made their religion and beliefs in God known to the world.  Now, the LGBTQ community is mad about the man not agreeing with them.

Why don’t you send somebody out to ask Ted Nugent how he feels about hunting being cruel to animals, or ask Bill Dance if he thinks fishing is cruel?  Just dumb!

Personally, I feel that gay folks can do whatever they want. I truly do not care.  The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community fought a good fight for the right to marry, and spousal benefits.  Then they fought for the right to fight and defend their country in the military.  What happened?  Did we run out of real issues, and now there is a need to find out how the fast food industry feels about it, and attack them if they don’t agree.

For the record, Chick-fil-A has the best chicken nuggets ever. I don’t care which way your chain kinks, that’s a fact.
