Defrosting your car windows can get frustrating especially if you're late for work. You get in your car and in a frenzy you just start punching buttons waiting for something to happen.

Well, okay, that's what I do and that's why this article really caught my eye. Mark Rober is a former engineer for NASA and he tested different combinations of air settings in his car to achieve the fastest way to defrost that foggy windshield. Better yet, there's a video, too.

Just remember these steps:

  1. Turn heater on at full blast
  2. Turn AC on
  3. Turn off the inside air circulation
  4. Crack open the windows

Now, I'll go ahead and warn you. In the video, Mark goes into a scientific explanation of why his way is best and, it is interesting, but to get to the real point of the video I got ya covered. Just go to the 3:34 mark of the video.
