About Collins Home

This gorgeous historic Mediterranean style home was built in 1929 by local philanthropist, Ben Collins for retired women. The house was originally called Ben and Jane Collins Home for Women. After the last resident left in 1995 the home was given to The Wadley Foundation which kept the home until 2008. The foundation could no longer use it so they deeded the property over to HandsOn Texarkana. The home is now used for private parties, events, and weddings.
