The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters July 3 and it's pretty amazing to me that they would re-vamp this franchise this soon since the other Spider-Man movies came out not that long ago.Instead of Tobey McGuire playing Spidey it's going to be Andrew Garfield, a British-American actor who began his career in British television. The story will be re-told with some changes along the way for the new super hero. Sometimes when you try to change direction and story lines it's like stepping on hallowed sacred grounds to a true comic book reader. So it will be interesting to see how the movie shakes out in the end. Garfield does  admit he was very nervous when he auditioned for the role and making the movie.

The good news the movie was created by Stan Lee an American comic book writer and former president and chairman of Marvel Comics. If you can't wait for the movie to come out, you can get the video game which comes out this Friday (6/29).

There's plenty of chat going on about the new movie so here are a few videos to help you get ready for The Amazing Spider-Man.
