If you're traveling this year for Thanksgiving, there's a good chance it's to one of these locations.

Thanksgiving, to me, doesn't seem like a holiday that you jump on a plane for. A road trip holiday? Absolutely. But some people only get a day or two off for this holiday so it doesn't seem like one to travel halfway across the country for. Of course, that's now to say that people don't do it. Not everyone is as weird as me.

So where are they going?

Well, according to Reservations.com, there are ten cities that will be visited more than any other city in the U.S. of A. The site speculates that since it was a "long summer season" the destinations are closer than in years past and that this list is reflective of cities with big Thanksgiving events.

The Top 10 destinations for Thanksgiving this year are;

New York, New York
Orlando, Florida
Chicago, Illinois
Las Vegas, Nevada
Los Angeles, California
Denver, Colorado
Boston, Massachusetts
Scottsdale, Arizona
Washington DC
Portland, Oregon
