Things are heating up on this season of The Voice!

These are the really exciting episodes of The Voice... The battle rounds. Not only can you really rally behind your favorite competitor, but you also get a whole lot of star power on your television.

This season Blake Shelton has enlisted the help of Brad Paisley to mentor his team. Gwen Stefani has chosen Selena Gomez, while Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams have chosen John Fogerty, of Creedence Clearwater Revival fame, and Missy Elliott, whom we were reintroduced to at last year's Super Bowl, respectively.

That's a wide range of talent. I mean, we're talking a 23-year-old pop star, a 70-year-old rock legend, a rap icon and a country star.

Genre overload!

It's a tad bit ironic that Shelton would choose Paisley. Obviously they share a love for the same kind of music, but Paisley served as a judge on a rival singing competition show, Rising Star in 2014. However, we have a feeling these two might be unstoppable this season.

Levine has always been a fan Fogerty's music, "There's just nothing like it. You can’t even sing his songs, ‘cause if you can’t sing them like he can, don’t bother," says Adam.

Stefani's choice of Gomez stems from respect for the young artist. "She’s like the perfect choice. She’s super experienced; she’s done everything...for a long, long time," Gwen said. In addition, Stefani sees Gomez as someone who is about to blossom into a whole new phase of her career which is indicative of what these kids are doing on the show.

The Voice airs tonight on NBC at 7 p.m. CT.
