Remember Sundance Head? He was on Team Blake and the winner of NBC's The Voice season 11. Get ready because the Houston native is coming to Texarkana to perform at Scottie's Grill this Friday, Sept. 15, 2017.

The country rocker with a soulful sound wowed audiences each week during 'The Voice' singing competition that saw him beat out Billy Gilman to take the crown. Sundance comes from a musical family, his father Roy Head had a huge hit in the mid 60s "Treat Her Right," with the band The Traits. When Head was 20-years-old he had the opportunity to play with the rock band ZZ Top, thanks to a mutual friendship his dad had with the band. However, it would be over a decade later that he formed his own band Sundance Head and performed throughout his home state of Texas.

Probably one of the the highlights of his career was when he got to perform a medley of hits with KISS during The Voice season finale. He held his own with the legendary band he grew up listening to as he shredded some guitar licks and rocked the house. He was later given the chance to open shows for them later that year.

Head's latest album is Everything to Lose.
