There’s Still Time to Enjoy Crawfish in Texarkana

The crawfish season will come to a close in the next few weeks, but that's not stopping people from getting their fill. Who doesn't love some crawfish with a cold beer? Actually, I have to have a couple of beers before I can dive into those critters. But once I do I love them.

I've listed a few places in our area to get some crawfish with all the fixin's. It's always a good idea to call ahead and make sure these places are open and haven't sold out for the day. Especially if you're placing a big order.

Hot Tails - Located on Hwy 71, five miles north of I-30 on the right, next to DuJack's Liquor.  Open Thursday-Sunday. 903-278-4594

Twisted Tails Crawfish at 8490 W 7th Street past Wake Village on the way to Redwater.  Located at OT's Landing - (903) 276-6652 (903) 556-5985 They're closed this weekend 6/10-6/11 but will be back open next Friday and Saturday.

I always get a little confused on how much to order, but from what I've read, the average person should order around 2.5 to 3 pounds and a big eater can eat 4 to 5 pounds and maybe more.
