Some Things to do on the Fourth of July Weekend..

Independence Day Weekend is coming up and here are some things to do around the area!

Here in Texarkana, there's one BIG fireworks show and Independence day celebration and that's Sparks in the Park. This years event will be held on Saturday, July 2nd starting at 4:00 PM. There will be live music, venders, games and of course the area's largest fireworks show lights up the sky at 9:30!

Other events around the area include:

July 3rd, the City of Nashville will host the 21st Annual Stand Up for America Celebration at the Nashville City Park. The schedule of events is as follows: 5:30 free watermelon for the kids,  6:30 Mo Betta Band,  7:30 Bear Creek Boys,  Salute to the troops,  9:15 fireworks.  Admission is 1 dollar.

On July 4th, celebrate Independence day on the Cossatot River at their Fourth of July Family Fun Festival at Cossatot River State Park near Wickes.
