Tim McGraw is getting ready for his "Two Lanes of Freedom" tour in more ways than one. McGraw is on a steady workout regime with martial arts expert Roger Yuan. Yuan was instrumental in training actor Daniel Craig for the role of 007.

According to the latest issue of People magazine, McGraw trains with the martial arts expert. McGraw is doing 90-minute sessions three times a week for five weeks before the tour,  that averages out to almost five hours a day. Doing all that -- and quitting sugar and wheat -- helped McGraw lose 40 pounds.  Once the tour begins McGraw's workout will include two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon. Tim says, "it helps him "relearn how to do a show without alcohol."

McGraw told PEOPLE “I drank a lot from my point of view and I needed to stop, “I felt quitting was something I needed to do. I didn’t feel I had any moral high ground with my kids in the long run.”

His Two Lanes of Freedom tour kicks off in May and you could win a trip to see and meet Tim McGraw in Tampa, Fl.
