The Academy of Country Music Awards take place this Sunday night. It's always a big night, but this year it's even bigger.

The show is practically in our backyard. This year, it's a first in a couple of ways. This year marks the first time that an awards show is being held in a stadium. Yes, it'll be at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Second, the show is also about four times more expensive to put on this year than last year. Think about all the lights and audio equipment that is needed to pull this off. Plus, two full stages were built, too.

The 50th ACM Awards airs Sunday, April 19, on CBS starting at 7 p.m.

Here is a great time-lapse video of the AT&T Stadium in Dallas being transformed in to the ACM stage we will see Sunday night.
