Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at These Texarkana Hangouts
St. Patrick's Day is this Friday, March 17. And while there may not be an abundance of Irish pubs in Texarkana there are at least four local restaurants/bars that will be celebrating the holiday with either green beer, specialty drinks or food.
Pecan Point is already known for its craft beer, great food, and cocktails. Celebrate St. Patty's Day with an Irish cocktail, Irish stew and live music from a 10-piece Irish band, The Doublooners.
A local Texarkana favorite on North State Line Avenue for over 25 years. Fat Jacks is the place to be for a St. Patrick's Day party. Besides the great food you can enjoy ice cold green beer, drink specials, St. Patrick goodies, beads and the hot sounds of local band Dusty Rose Band. Wear your green and be ready to party!
When you walk into this building you can't help to feel like you're going back in time. Hopkins Icehouse is a big part of Texarkana's history with its great food, beer and specialty drinks. And yes, Hopkins will be celebrating St. Patty's Day with green beer and specials on Guinness beer and Guinness split pints. Enjoy live music from local musician, Victor.
Located at 8700 West 7th Street, Scottie's Grill is fast becoming a local hangout to meet friends and have a great time inside or outside on its huge deck. Besides serving up some great seafood and steaks, enjoy some fantastic drinks. Scotties will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day with green beer and a specialty Irish drink -- that I can't mention the name of because my Managing Editor might get angry.
