Americans are always looking to celebrate a special occasion and this Friday, May 5, is Cinco de Mayo. There are several Mexican restaurants around town who will be celebrating with a fiesta with plenty of great food and festivities. Of course, what would a party be without a Margarita?

This has been a traditional hot spot for the past few years in Texarkana. This Cinco de Mayo you can come celebrate with the Dusty Rose Band performing outdoors at 8PM. There is a $5 cover charge to watch the band but there will be lots of festivities for all ages, photo booth, face painting, inflatable slide, cotton candy, beer trucks on site and I'll be there broadcasting from 5-7PM to get the party started. Ask about VIP seating which includes a personalized bucket of beer, two appetizers, and Cinco event t-shirt.

OTB will be be celebrating with a Cinco de Mayo fiesta that last two days. The party starts at 7PM Friday with The Moss Brothers Band and wraps up with Crooked Halo on Saturday at 7PM. (No cover charge) Not only will there be great food but take advantage of some drink specials too including $5 Cinco' Ritas. Cinco like you mean it!
