Townsquare Media Honored at Governor's Mansion

Andi Darby, and Townsquare Media were recently honored at the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion for efforts in reducing hunger in Arkansas, and presented with the “Acting Out Against Hunger” Award by the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance.

The award is presented to Arkansans that show leadership, courage, and dedication in the fight against hunger. This year the award was presented to Townsquare Media during the Hunger Action Breakfast at the Governor’s Mansion on September 13th, and was accepted by Mrs. Andi Darby.

This was in a letter from Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance Executive Director Rhonda Sanders,

Two years ago we initiated a new award called the “Acting Out Against Hunger” Award. We presented this award to several Arkansans who showed leadership, courage, and dedication in the fight against hunger. We have made our selection for this year’s award. Townsquare Media has been selected as a recipient of this year’s award. The leadership and dedication from Townsquare Media has truly helped so many Arkansans.

Congratulations Andi… We are proud of you, and love you dearly. You deserve this recognition and not just for your work with feeding those in need, but for everything you do for us all everyday… Thank you!
