Grammy Award winner and country star Travis Tritt is coming back to El Dorado, Ark. I've always enjoyed listening to this Georgia-born singer with his rockin' country sound to his heartfelt soulful ballads.

Main Street El Dorado and El Dorado Chemical are proud to present “An Evening with Travis Tritt” on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium (100 W 8th). The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

Travis Tritt was one of the leading new country singers of the early 90’s, holding his own against Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson. He was the only one not to wear a hat and the only one to dip into bluesy Southern rock. Consequently, he developed a gutsy, outlaw image that distinguished him from the pack. His career included a string of platinum albums and Top-Ten singles, including seven number one hits. To date, Tritt has charted 40 singles, won two Grammy Awards, four CMA Awards and a 1990 Billboard Award for Top New Male Artist. He has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1992.

Tickets are Reserved Seating and are $100 (Golden Circle) – includes a photo-op with Tritt, $45 (Orchestra) and $35 (Parquet) and are available online at mainstreeteldorado.org or by calling the office of Main Street El Dorado at (870) 862-4747.
