Trial of Horse Thief Is Delayed
The Trial of an alleged horse thief has been delayed in Southwest Arkansas.19 year old Jaci Jackson's trial was originally set for Thursday and Friday. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that a new trial date has not been scheduled yet for the suspect.
Jackson is a former member of the rodeo team at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. She's accused of stealing five horses, along with a trailer and tack from the Mulerider Stables. She also is facing animal cruelty charges in Oklahoma, where a horse named Credit Card was found dead with its throat slashed.
