TV’s The Waltons Are Uniting For Special [VIDEO/POLL]

Did you grow up watching "The Waltons' on television? I wasn't a huge Walton's fan but I did enjoy watching the show from time to time. Who could forget John Boy or grandma and grandpa? My favorite episode was the one about a Homecoming Christmas, it had such a good meaning and a lot of shows today just don't have that. Good news: 'The Waltons' are getting back together for a prime time special.According to TV Guide Magazine, the surviving cast members of The Waltons will reunite on September 29th in Los Angeles. The reunion, is to be called The Waltons 40th Anniversary: Celebrating Family & Education. It's going to be a fundraiser for Enviromental Charter Middle School. The principal of the school is Kami Cotler who played Elizabeth Walton in the long-running series.

I think another favorite moment of the show was how they used to close the show with the whole family saying Goodnight.
