Razorback signal caller Tyler Wilson is quietly taking down Ryan Mallett and Joe Ferguson's records at the University of Arkansas... one by one...

Tyler Wilson set a school record for most completions in a game in Saturdays win over Mississippi State. Wilson connected on 32 of his 43 throws breaking Joe Ferguson's record of 31 completions in a game that's stood since 1971.

Earlier in the season, Tyler broke Ryan Mallett's record for most passing yards in a game when he threw for 510 yards against Texas A&M.

There are several records within Tylers sights before this season is over.

Saturday night, Wilson became only the second quarterback in Arkansas history to throw for over 3,000 yards in a season and he's now 654 yards away from tying Ryan's record for most passing yards in a season. That means Tyler would have to throw for an average of 327 yards per game his next two outings. That looks to be a tall order with LSU coming up on Friday, but anything is possible.

He's also poised to break Ryan's record for most completions in a season.  Tyler is currently 23 completions away from tying Ryan's record of 266...

He's 26 throws away from Ryan's record for most passes attempted in a season..

Both of those records seem sure to fall before the season is over.

One thing is for sure, the Razorbacks Quarterback position is in good hands with Tyler under center and with another year to go for the junior, expect more of Ryan and Joe Ferguson's records to fall.
