The University of Arkansas at Hope Community Education Department will host an Introductory Drone Education course on Saturday, January 28 from 10AM to 12PM in Hempstead Hall.  The cost of the course is $30.00 per person and you must bring your own drone.

This course is for beginners who are new to using drones or those who may be interested in purchasing a drone.  In the Introductory Drone Education course, you will learn how to utilize a drone to the best of its ability, all FAA guidelines needed for personal drone use, and a few tricks along the way.

The instructor for the course is the owner of Arkansas Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (ArkUAV) Business Services, Brad Fausett.  ArkUAV customizes and enhances unmanned aerial vehicles with state-of-the-art video hardware, sensors and analytic tools capable of gathering invaluable data.  Fausett stated, “Our aerial systems have far-reaching potential for energy and utility services, agriculture and forestry management.”
