‘Veggie Tales’ Comes to Texarkana

Parents if you have some little ones, Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber from the Christian-based children's books and television show Veggie Tales are ready to make them smile.

Both characters will be making an appearance at Lifeway Christian Store in the Texarkana Pavilion shopping center on Saturday, June 4 from 11AM-1PM.

Larry the Cucumber is Bob's wacky sidekick and best friend in the animated video series. He plays the tuba or (sousaphone) in the theme song while Bob does the singing.

Bob the Tomato is best known as the straight sidekick to Larry the Cucumber, where together they begin telling stories. By the end of the story, a Biblical lesson is learned. Bob plays many characters in his role that enables him to showcase his more mature persona. At the end of each episode Larry and Bob can be seen in the kitchen with Qwerty -- a desktop computer they use to read a Bible verse.
