The W. Temple Webber Cancer Center at CHRISTUS St. Michael is celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day by recognizing and supporting cancer patients and those who care for them during a Cancer Survivors Day Celebration at 4PM on Sunday, June 3, 2018 in the CHRISTUS St. Michael Dining Atrium and Courtyard, at 2600 St. Michael Drive in Texarkana.

“This event is a wonderful way for a community that shares a special bond to come together in celebration of everything they have accomplished together,” said Gary Upp, Director of the W. Temple Webber Cancer Center. “Fighting cancer is truly a battle shared by everyone: the patients, their family, their community. Every person here is proud and honored to be a member of that team, and we are blessed to be able to serve this community and these people by extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.”

The event will include light refreshments, inspirational testimonials from cancer survivors in the community and a balloon release to honor and acknowledge cancer survivors. Cancer survivors and their loved ones are encouraged to attend.

Seating is limited, and reservations are requested. Reservations can be made by calling toll-free 1-855-614-MIKE (6453) or by registering online at www.christusstmichael.org/cancersurvivorday.
