Walk MS Texarkana Raises $13,000 [PHOTOS]

I had the opportunity this past Saturday (April 6) to emcee Walk MS Texarkana at Bobby Ferguson Park at the new pavilion. The weather was a little cool to start out the morning, but by the time the walk got underway at 11 a.m. it was perfect.A little more than 150 people from adult, kids, team members, and their dogs showed up to help raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. After the walk everyone was treated to lunch from Subway and various door prizes were handed out including recognition for the best teams raising the most money.

The goal of Walk MS Texarkana this year was to raise $12,000 and the amount raised was $13,000. Thanks to everyone who participated!
