Walking Trail Project near Texas A&M to Receive Donation

Officials are looking to improve the walking trail at Bringle Lake Park next to the Texas A&M-Texarkana  Campus.

Representatives with the local Partnership for the Pathway
organization will be presenting a check in the amount of
$10,000 to help fund an upgrade of the walking trail system
from the trailhead located at Bringle Lake East Park to the
Bringle Lake Dam.

This funding will be used in conjunction
with a Texas Parks and Wildlife Trails Grant.

The check presentation will be at the Bringle Lake East Park at 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 10. The public is encouraged and invited to attend the presentation.
